Gauging Interest - Complete PS Removal Kits
This will be a complete bolt-on package, and will include absolutely everything necessary to loop/vent the PS system. The finalized contents list is as follows:
- Complete US Brake reservoir setup
- Reinforced tubing (oil/fuel-safe)
- Aeroquip fittings for rack
- "T"-fitting (also a "Y"-fitting and a reducer on the 5th gen. kits)
- All necessary clamps
- Teflon tape (for rack fitting)
- Zip-ties
- Screws & washers
- Instructions/diagram
Finalized pricing is $64 for the '96-'00 Civic kits, and $68 for the 5th gen. Civic kits. Shipping is normally $3 - $5 depending upon location, and is normally 2-3 day USPS Priority.

I personally wouldn't buy one. But I have a CX.
I think that there should be some people interested in this kit.
There is a lot of people who are scared they will screw something
up when removing there power steering and if you tell them that
there is a right and wrong way, they would want your kit.

Re: Gauging Interest - Complete PS Removal Kits (RSZero1)
I would be interested. I've thought about doing that mod but I admit I'm too lazy to source all the parts. From my understanding of what it costs $60 seems reasonable for what it costs plus the time and effort. I dont know how many people are as lazy as me.

The status of the 5th gen. kits is that they've been delayed (as some of you who've contacted me know). I was planning on starting orders this week, but when I contacted one of the parts suppliers, they did not have enough of the Y fittings, nor do they plan on stocking any more. So now I am looking into a substitute part or supplier. The '96-'00 Civic and '94+ Integra kits are still no problem. Again, I know some people have been waiting on these, so I'm sorry for the delay. I'd like to get them out as soon as possible, and I'll be working on it.

OK, another update on the 5th gen. kits. I am almost positive that I've found a new supplier for the fittings (just waiting to hear back about the inventory levels). The "model car" should be here this weekend as well, so I can get the measuring done. If all goes on schedule, they kits should be ready to start orders on Monday, the 29th. Because of the extra fitting, tubing, and clamps, the 5th gen. kit will be $68 rather than $63 for the Integra. As always, comments/questions/concerns can feel free to PM or email me.
