gauges turn on when they feel like it > pretty sure it's not a ground problem
like the title says. my cluster and control panel lights turn on when they feel like it- seriously. it would be a ground problem if it sometimes flickered on and off, depending on bumps or me kicking under the dash, but it doesn't.
i could be just sitting in the car, at idle, feet or body not moving, little to no vibrations in the car.. and the lights will turn off/on. wtf? signals work, headlights work, everything works. just they turn on when they want. im kinda starting to think it could be from where the previous owner tapped the gauge lights for a tach? but then it would go against my idea its not a bad ground (or power).
help? sucks trying to mash when you can't see whether your shifting at 8K or like 5K, lol
