Hey, they have a 6th gen. Civic DX cluster on a 5th gen. dash...Wierd. I don't like that setup personally...But if you like it, that's all that matters. Hope you got the setup to match all those guages though.

I think KJEG94 might have that. Can't remember though.
I know someone one this board has it for sure though.

Hey, they have a 6th gen. Civic DX cluster on a 5th gen. dash...Wierd.
What features of that cluster make you say that? That looks a lot like my old 92 CX cluster, but tell me how you know it's a sixth gen cluster.

Look at the speedometer. That's a 5th gen. speedo. I've never seen a 6th gen. that had "0" at the 9 o'clock position....

does anybody have any other suggestions? I'm tired of the same ol spot that EVERYONE and their mom uses. I have a 5" tach that was a gift to me, so I'm definitely going to use it.

If you have to have a 5" tach then by all means go for it. I think it looks better than mounting it near the a-pillar, but don't you loose the use of the two center vents?

I'm not a big fan of that model. I'd have no need for a 5" tach and I'm not crazy about how those end gauges would be propelled in event of my passenger side air bag deploying.

Hmmm, Summit is on B/O huh. Did you try some other mail orders (Jeg's , etc.) they may have some in stock. At last resort call up Autometer and ask if they are on B/O everywhere, if not they should be able to tell you a dealer whom has one in stock to sell?

Maybe you are right, at first glance I thought I saw the purple/bluish ring around the speedo. It's a picture too far away...

i thought about it before but decided that i did not want all the guages at the place. Now that I dont have **** in my car i took all of them out. (boost, af, ect...) autometer.com has the guage pod under guageworks i think.

ya, i have that on my ride. I really like it. Nice location, very visible. When i bought it 3 years ago it was pretty rare plus i hate typical A pillar tach's. (and didnt want to buy the JDMMM cluster just for tach) anyways. Ill post some pics for you when i get home. It looks funny in that pic. It honestly looks better than that. Ill get you guys some good angles. haha

Putting all of your gauges on your A-pillar also creates an amazing blind spot when doing anything other than drag racing. I bored mine out so I could fit my Greddy gauges, now when I run canyons I have to crane my neck on left turns.

I like mine, but the Autometer mounting sucks.

I rather have all those in my cluser and pillar rather then all over my dash.

Doesn't look very functional. Who is gonna look clear over on the other side of there car during a race? I have a shift light in the gauge cluster and that's all you really need.
