Default Gauge face plates

Does any on know of a company that sells gauge face plates for an EG that has a tach that reads up to 9000rpm and redlines at 8200rpm? It would sure be cheaper to buy a face plate kit than a JDM cluster and I could keep my speedo in MPH and the odometer would still match the car.

Try NR AUTO. I used to have it on my old 98 Prelude and they look pretty good. They are a direct fit though you have to use "adhesive tape" to install them. Price is about $99

So you just want the redline marks to be higher?

Basically yes. My tach only goes up to 8000 because it is a VX

Get the "manual" set for 92-95 Civic EX/Si...trust me..the red-orange redline 9K will do fine by using the NR Auto face plates....its not like your going to rev it that high anyways

The EX tach redlines at 7200. I want a tach that redlines at 8200. Guess I'll have to get the JDM one.

I like those too but too bad they're for the wrong year civic. Now the marker idea is a good one. Mabye I can color them in and start selling them on e-bay.

Don't laugh at me too much! I went to the junk yard today and bought an EX cluster for $30 and decided to go ghetto on it. I painted the red 7500 and 8000 marks white, and I used black electrical tape, which is the same shade as the tach background, to cover up the red lines. I doesn't look too bad either. From the driver's seat, you can't really tell it has been modified, unless you get up really close. Not bad for $30. Now we'll see how long the tape stays on. I took the picture too close up so it is a little blury but you get the idea.
