alright, i parked my car to get chicken after school (we got let out early today cause of snow, see pics in the snow pics thread in cosmetic!) and when i got back in i noticed that my speedo/tach/temp... didnt work. also the clock and the blinker lights in the gauge were out, but when i put on my hazards (no traction, 5 mph on windy roads ) they lit up, probbly a safety feature. im gonna tear my dash off tonight to see whats matter, already checked the fuses when i stopped for gas, and they were fine. The wiring harness from the previous owner is really ghetto with lots of electrical tape, could that have something to do with it? anyway, i have never gone into this section of my car (only had a civic since august) and i wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions of what might be wrong.

the wires could be it possibly shorted something out.
it could have maybe just came unplugged?
or maybe its toast.

the third option sounds scary. i have been sick as a dog the past 24 hours and haven't gotten to looking at it, in fact all i have done is read seeing as my computer got the blue screen of death yesterday, im using my bro's for a couple of seconds to check this thread. technology hates me
