Default Gauge Cluster/ Turn Signal HELP!

I bought a 1997 civic DX, (automatic) that was a theft recovery. The ignition and gauge cluster had been ripped out. I replaced the gauge cluster with a cluster from a 99 civic manual. I have 2 connectors that arent the right size for the 2 smaller ones in the back of the cluster. There are currently 2 large connected and 1 small connected to the cluster, everything works BUT my turn signals. I do not know where to start to determine why my turns arent working. Any help would be much appreciated, thanx

is your hazard button completely plugged in all the way?

cause i had the same problem with my 95 civic. i had to remove the hazard button to unscrew something behind it so i could take out the cluster. might be the same with yours?

That is definetly the problem. Get and connect the hazard button, it acts as a relay for your turn signals. I had the same problem when my car was broken into and the whole center council was taken.
