gauge cluster not working...need help
when i start my car the srs stays on and my mph just will work when it wants to and i can be stopped and it will go crazy and say im going 100 and it just flickers up and down. my lights also flicker (dim and go bright). i put some new ground wires on my car to and that didnt solve anything. i did have subs and it drained my battery. would it be my alternator?

I am having the same problem with the speedometer crapping out and the nice fellow left a couple of links to some pictures of it so you can see what it looks like so you can change it. Also info on how to check the "Check Engine Light" codes to see if it registered as bad.

You have a lot of problems and you are not telling us very much. I had the problem where my check engine light would come one and my speedometer would just "stop working". Sometimes it did not work at all, sometimes it did work then would cut out. Made it impossible for me to use cruise control. I had some other problems, minor I would think. My radio would cut out sometimes, especially if I used the cigarette lighter. That problem is still there. I did follow the instructions in the sticky thread at the beginning of this forum called:
The new CEL thread (includes how-to and codes) https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1901557
I followed the instructions for my car (This is the Honda Civic/Del Sol (1992 - 2000) forum) and when I read the engine light code, it showed the VSS, or Vehicle Speed Sensor was giving problems so I replaced it. That fixed my engine light coming on and made the speedometer and cruise control work all the time now. Maybe you should do the same thing and check to see if you have anything registered in your check engine light codes. Has that light ever come on for you?
Good luck.

Without proper voltage, none of then sensor will work right. If you alt took a ****, you will be running of the battery and that cannot power everything in you car for very long.
Need more info!!!!
