Gauge cluster needles
Ok heres the deal , I installed indiglow gauages in my ex , when I did the install .I used a red marker to color the needles and make them red . Well the transformer died for the gauges and I want to take the white face gauge part off (doesnt seem that bright at night) . I tried using rubbing alcohol with coton swabs to remove the red , but that only left my needles looking pink . Should I take a small brush and attempt to make the needles white with paint . I have seen how some paint affects styrofome cups and some plastics . I would rather ask this question instead of ending up with melted needles .

Re: Gauge cluster needles (you2envious)
Use a exacto knife to scrape the layer of red paint molecules off the needle. We painted my friends needles and i fubared them up with my sloppy handwork. A little scrape and off it came.
