Default Gauge Cluster lights don't work or fade in/out

I'm pretty sure its due to loose grounds..

its easy to say "check grounds"

but where to look?

some more details: ceiling light still works all the time, headlights work all the time while this problem keeps happening.

Replace your dimmer switch. I had the same issue a month ago. Check on eBay....(that's where I got mine for $15 shipped).
