Gauge cluster issue in '96 DX
I was driving my bone stock '96 DX that I bought about two weeks ago and the tach, speedo, fuel gauge, and temperature gauge all stopped working at the same time.
I installed my hondata s300 P28 ECU in it and the ECU is seeing at least the engine speed and coolant temperature as I can monitor them on the digital gauges.
The actual lights on the cluster work fine (check engine light, high beams, turn signals, battery light, etc all work) but none of the actual gauges are working. I tried replacing the cluster itself with a spare I had that is a known good cluster but it is doing the same thing.
I looked at the fuse diagram but didn't see anything that mentioned the gauge cluster, but maybe I'm missing something somewhere.
Anyone have any ideas? Where is the gauge cluster grounded? That is the only other thing that I can think of...

There's a dash fuse for the gauges -- #25

Re: Gauge cluster issue in '96 DX
Thanks for the quick response guys, the METER thing threw me off. I'll replace it in the morning and let you know if it fixes it or not (I'm sure it will).
