Default Gauge Cluster Help

Im having a few problems with my gauge cluster..
1. The spedo goes up in steps like its getting hung up I just put this one in the other one would work when it felt like it and bounce between 60 and 80mph while I was stopped.

2. The gauge lights don't work at all so when its dark I can't see how fast im going.
The srs cel brake etc lights come on but no other lights except half of the climate control lights up.

If one bulb is burned out will that keep all of them from working? Should I buy an entire new cluster?

Its a 92 eg

UPDATE

Looks like the car was originally an automatic.. making the in dash harness an Auto

the cluster I have is a 5spd SI .... and there is a green plug that isnt plugged in .. we fed power to the male side and the lights work..

So my question is can I take the green plug from a 5pd car and splice it in to my harness to make it work?

Green plug is for the cruise control.

Exactly what it is for. The green plug on the top right (or left, I'm pretty sure right) The only function it serves if for P R D 2 1 or whatever your auto has.

It has all other plugs and you should NOT have any problems. So don't blame the automatic

I also found out the cluster is not getting a ground .. each bulb is getting two positives .. which is why its not working - I don't know if the cluster is bad or if there is something in the wiring.
