gauge cluser ?
before everyone yells SEARCH i did search in archives
and it all talks about GSR clusters. I just want to knwo if the GS cluster would be a straight plug and play to a 96 DX hatch. I know what i have to do to get it mounted in there correctly with the little metal tabs and stuff. But i want to know do i have to re pin anything. I heard you do with the GSR cluster but i was wondering since its GS/LS cluster would i have to re wire anything?

pretty much all of them. yes, you have to rewire the harnesses to accept the cluster.
and NO you did NOT search. If you did you made a poor poor attempt at it.
"current" searches are useless. you have to click the "archive" button to get substance from the searches...
and yes, they all have the same wiring in the printed circuit. Only difference between gs/ls and gsr is the tach redline starts higher on the printed face on the gsr.

Re: gauge cluser ? (stackz)
well actualy i did do the archive search and looked through about 40 something post and most of them were just 2 or 3 replys saying to search. i only found one or 2 that actualy had info on what i wanted and like i said i just wanted to make sure before i started ripping out wires that the same thing goes for gs cause the diagram was for a gsr cluster.

first one you cant use, it's for 92-95's
second one has bad wiring schematics.
here's mine:

i was mainly curious to see if you'd find it on here but guess not, even though it's been quoted several times.
