Yeah, that plug looks a lot like a CD changer plug. It doesn't look like it can be wired independent of another source.

hey man, you need a jdm tape deck. I think some of the us eg tape deck models have the port so that you could plug that in. Go to a local junk yard and look at some of the tape decks there. the unit will not be able to work alone if thats what you are trying to do.

Re: (clm)
the plug onthe left goes to the cd changer that was usually installed in the center console. why they need two cd player?? dont ask me why. and the square plug is for the actual cd player, ive never had one in hand to look at but it should be the same as ours are, just cut the plastic clip off and get yourself the wire adapter (the one they sell for aftermarket headunits) and play around with it....
you are going to have to cut that clip anyway so might aswell do and get that **** working.....
i know it sucks to have to cut but that is what you will have to do....

I have the exact same unit. Anyone else wired this thing up successfully?
THis is gonna be going in as soon as I get my center console in.

Yup, you gotta chop off the clip if you're not going to install all of the components. I'm not quite sure why anybody would purchase that headunit seeing as you could probably get a top of the line Pioneer or Alpine deck for the price you paid and have 5x the sound quality.
Whatever, though. Not my money. Good luck with the install.
