well first off... gas light dont work... but that sorta doesnt matter
got a 92 si
well to the problem.. most of the time it reads some what accurate.. but it seems to go down quickly right after its filled.. so it reads E after like 9 gallons.. but 2 be safe i just add about 4 gallons but then it tops off.. so its goes to full.. its trippy.. would like to fix it.. but how... fix the light? etc?

You can swap of that part of the cluster, that may fix it.

so any way to stop the eradicate behavior

is you car parked even. as in leveled? when my car is on a driveway that is slanted, the needle shows lower that what it suppose to.

EDIT: Check your gas fuel level sensor inside the gas tank.

How you fix that is buy my brand new autometer sport-comp fuel level guage with sender for 80 bucks. A shameless plug I know.

Last time i checked..EG'S didnt come with a gas light
