i bought a 1993 del sol recently and am having some trouble. The car sounds and looks amazing engine is a little dirty but that is to be expected with a 17 year old car even though its dirty it only has 63k original miles because it was used as a show car. my problem is that when the car is running and i turn on the lights my rpm gage stops working and falls to zero turn off the lights and it comes right back on any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

You need to check your ground. They all connected to the same gound. Its under the left kick panel. See if you have resistance. It the ground is dirty try cleaning it for a better contact. Also open your steering wheel cover and see if any are splicing into the wires. You need the Electrical troubleshoot manual to see which wire is which. Go to autozone and buy that book for your car.
