FYI - For Rust, use sand paper and WD40
So i was cleaning the rust of my rotors of my rear trailing arms, and sanding it was a pain in the ***. So I tried a little WD and it ate through the rust like it was nothing. They look brand new!!!!
Just thought I would mention this to you people.

Yeah they will look brand new until it rains. I used to wipe my 20" bike down with wd-40 when i was a kid cuz it made it look shiney. Then I learned not to waste wd-40.

Go to jail for what? I think that they did a pretty good job of staying within the bounds that our lax legal system affords us.

Actually, it is a website that sells a video of bums fighting each other. But actually, the best part is not the fighting its the other content. I guess since I made an avatar of Rufus I can give them a free plug. Buy the DVD honkies.

Just use brake cleaner. Only thing about using WD-40 is that its a lubricant, which means possibly limiting stopping power until it burns off. Just make sure you dont just spray it on and leave it.

1BlackHatch, Bum Fights was so disturbing, I hope the people who made it go to jail.
I hope they become filthy rich.. The real message of that video isn't suppose to be funny. In fact, if you actually pay attention, instead of getting the “Oh my God!! They should all burn in hell!” Soccer Mom response you will notice the following. The logo of their group is "Indecline" displaying a suit-wearing businessman, with horns on his head and $ signs for eyes. Does this signify humor? I think not. The producers of this video have obviously mastered the psychology of the American public.. By passing the video off as a hilarious atrocity, they have gotten more attention then any other method possible.. Do you think people would give a **** if they made a documentary called the “Poor homeless people”?
As far as WD40 goes, I'm not so sure I would be hoseing my brake rotors down with a lubicant.

Just to let you know... WD40 isn't a lubricant, it's a solvent. Not a very good one at that, it's got a bunch of detergents that attract dirt and turns whatever you sprayed it on into a black mess. Sand paper works well. Try some Tri-Flow (a lubricant with Teflon) and steel wool.

Thats cool, but my point was that you use WD-40 to lubricate metal parts that you don't want to rust or stick. I would logically think that it wouldn't be that safe putting anything on you rotors that would inhibit stopping. But hey thats just me.
