I think it's already been covered very in-depth right here:

TTT it every now and again so there will be no more debating.

according to the Nada book B18C5-EH2, you are incorrect in your weights of both the CX hatchback and all of the 4-doors. I guess the debate rages on.

There is no debate.
I didn't take my weights from some second-hand book like the NADA or whatever.
The weights come straight from the HONDA sales broshures and service manuals from 1992.
I think my source is THE most credible, don't you?

Oh 14 fricken lbs.
it's in the wheels.
Example 96 14" steelies weigh in at 18 lbs each.
96 14" alloys weigh in at 11.75 lbs each. Multiply each by 4 and you get.
72 lbs of wheels for the steelies.
47 lbs of wheels for the alloys.
Thats 25 lbs right there.
Of course in the 13's the weight is lighter for both so the difference is less but you get the idea.

Keep this in mind:
1994-1995 Civics had dual airbags, so the weights should be different from the 1992 ones listed in my posts.
