So my fuses keep blowin that keep my sidemarkers, fog lights and turn signals on. Now I know this is some kinda rookie mistake but how do I fix this. My sidemarkers and fog lights are all hooked up to both corner turn signal lights. What do I do to fix this. FML!!!

check your wires.. make sure there are no exposed wires touching another wire or a piece of metal. fuses blow from power touching ground.

ideally you would need to look at a schemtic to see where the wires start from and end at.

Well I'm like 90% sure i wrapped it good. Could it be something else

have a volt meter? probably not.

therefor start checking your wires.

im not saying to unwrapped all your perfect soldered and shrink-wrapped connections (in my dreams right?) but since you did mess with the wires that would be the first place any tech would start.

from there it could be the load so in this case hazard switch, fuse box problem, lightbulbs..any of the 6, headlight switch... the trick is to isolate when the fuse blows.. for example..disonnect your right side blinkers...does the fuse blow? now disconnect your left side blinkers?..does the fuse blow? now disconnect all the bulbs...does the fuse blow? disconnect the hazard switch...does the fuse blow?

when you isolate the problem you can then determine where about in the schemtic the problem lies. taking this into consideration..lets say the fuse still blows while everything after the hazard switch is disconnected. this tells you that the problem lies in between the fuse itself and your hazard switch since the hazard switch is the first load or component on that circuit.

HanksTHanks alot man. That's gonna help. But one last thing. Could it be also that there is too much goin to one source of power as in I have my sidemarkers and fogs connected to the corner lights? Sorry to ask so much but I wanna learn as well as fix it

possibly..but probably not.

i know plenty of poeple that wire stuff into their radio power wire for gauges, tachs, underglows, dvd navigation, alarms and etc.. eventhough i would love to see them have a problem for not wiring it correctly i must say that i havent seen a problem with them doing it this way. and the radio circuit is controlled by a 10 amp
