Default fuse and light problem

my friend got a 93 civic vx i just put some gauges on it and now the gauge works but after a few min the dash light and tail lights dosent work because it blew a fuse tried it again samething happend does anyone kno what i can do its a oil temp gauge

the gauge its just for show so i connected the wires with some other wires behind the cluster so the light can work if there`s another way to do it let me kno thanks

yeah.. do it the proper way...... put a bigger fuse in it to stop it from blowing but rewire it

Did you wire it properly? What gauges did you put in (indiglo)?

its a faze oil temp 2inch gauge its just for show but i wanted to kno if theres another way to install it ?

yeah... not through the cluster..... if you got the gauge ****** install it, its not that hard

i dont whant to make a hole in the oil pan for that **** my friend just want it for SHOW !!!!!!!!

you dont have to make a hole in the oil pan.... ive never heard of anyone installing a gauge from the oil pan.... you can either get a filter relocation kit and tap off of one of the lines or pull a freeze plug run a line from that to the sender unit
