funny acting after head studs n gasket?
Just did put new head gasket n head studds in my turbo ls build. Motor has je pistons eagle h beam rods arm rod bolts, stock head other then studs. Has a t3 turbo with a 60.1 compressor tuned on 12lbs. Before the head studs n gaskets this thing would burn the tires off in 2nd gear, now after just changing gaskets n studds this thing will not break the front tires loose in 2nd? Any idea what this is, tune maybe? a/f is awesome everywhere accept if i go wot from 2500-3800 rpm my a/f goes to 10.1?? but everywhere else its at 11.9-12.1 A/f. It clears up pretty good at about 4k rpm but it used to break the tires loose around 5700-6000 rpm in 2nd now it just feels as if something is holding it back. Any ideas?

10.1 as in its pegging out your wideband. Sounds like you either got the mechanical timing off, a small boost leak, or you need to retune it.

yes it is tuned and its the same tune that it had before the head gaskets. Like i said car runs drives perfect until wot from 2500-3800 rpm it just goes crazy rich n then cleans up from 4k on but just doesnt feel like it has the power it did before. Yes took out a couple degrees of time just to keep it safe till i get some bigger injectors they are at 93% duty cycle or so.

Check for boost leaks and by timing we mean mechanical, you may have got the timing belt off a tooth. And its probably not a good idea to keep making it hit that rich. You don't really know how rich it is going and you could be dumping fuel into your oil and thinning it out.
