Default Funds are low. should i paint my car flat black???

I can't seen to save up enough money to get my car painted, and if i did have that kind of money, i would build the motor. It is primed now and i'm getting tired of this getto look. Should i just paint it flat black. I saw a pic of a car painted flat black and i though it looked pretty good(can someone post it). I also plan on getting rid of this car soon so i don't want to invest anymore in the car unless it can be transfered to the hatch i plan on getting. Any other sudgertions are welcome. Thanks

if you are going to get rid of it then do nothing else to and save the money.

Yeah save up 200-300 bucks, take it to Maaco or wait for one of their cheap $200 specials. Tape everything off yourself that isn't going to get painted, because they tend to be known for crappy tape jobs and overspray.

I thought about taking it to maaco but there are dings and dents everywhere. If i paint it flat black, i can do the bodywork and the flatblack should hide all my inperfections. I was wondering how the guy that i saw on here before painted his.

dont take it to maaca, why destroy a car, maac uses shitty *** paint and if someone ever wants to paint it rifght after that thewy need to strip off the maaaco paint.ask around a couple body shops .you should be able to find one that can spray your car in a black primer.

How do you plan on painting it? It's going to take a lot to make the flat black look decent. Don't just take a can of Krylon Unltra Flat Black and go at it. With spray cans, the finish, or lack there of, will never look even. Do you have an air compressor, or access to one? And to get flat black paint, you could probably spend it on some white paint, which will also hide your dents...either way, you're going to have to spend money on paint, wet sand, and mask it off...since you got that far, might as well lay a nice coat of white on, which won't be too much more than flat black, and it's an actual finish too! JUst my 2 pennies
