Fundamental differences between H and B
I'm sold on B's, H's are for Preludes and Accords but what is the difference between the series other than size? Is the H a big bore long throw B? I'm not looking for stupid answers like different cam profiles (no sh*t), but rather major mechanical differences.

Dude the list can go on all day, try searching the archives on this site you'll find everything that you need know.
The b-series and H-series are two totally different engines, I don't believe they share anything.

Re: Fundamental differences between H and B (B--RYAN)
I know they don't share anything, I'm speaking from a sort of principles of mechanics view. Again I state, what are the major MECHANICAL differences aside from the completely obvious. Again no silly stuff like difference cam profiles and such. There must be a reason why it's not a B22. I'm curious, does one crank spin the other way? I-beam rods instead of H-beam or vice versa. What makes the series different? Again, I know that they are different sizes and all the basics, I'm talking about the brainy mechanical diffs.

Re: (b16ahybrid)
no the crank spins the same way (I heard someone used a b16 tranny on h22 with a adapter plate). Tranny is different, mount points are different, little bigger deck height, some h22 have closed deck design unlike B series (which makes me believe that they are little stronger but it's just my observation) well it's a totaly different block. So just stop and I don't know what you are trying to figure out.
