I think they might function since spoon sells them.

All I know is that I had a touring spoiler on my four door integra (6 years ago so don't laugh) that provided lots of downforce and without it the car would be a tad squirrely at around 125mph.

They have function by creating some down force but nothing dramatic.
Wrong forum by the way

What forum would it go in? Don't see an Integra with a duckbill. There is some tech involved.

def. bling... the only body kit type thing that i know of that has a function is the mugen kit b/c it was the only one to be tested in a wind tunnel and has genuine proof of added downfroce... everything else believe it or not is PROBABLY just bling. but maybe if they tested it in a wind tunnel it would prove to be function as well. too bad wind tunnnel testing is expensive!!!!

Spoon duckbill is functional... spoon only does functional... the other duckbills are all replicas and are mostly meant for bling...

mugen is indeed the only windtunnel proven rear wing but the damned thing is rare (luckily I have a lead for one )

about someone saying no to the fact that a rear wing stabalizes a car at higher speeds... dude... learn something about airflow over a car... the whole 'rear wings do nothing for FWD cars but looks'-thing is soooo outdated...

A duckbill with a bigger angle took me 10km/h of topspeed than without.

The duckbill was not originally made for bling, but I guess it is now since everyone has it, lol. But yea, aerodynamcally the duckbill isn't so good becuase all the air thats passing overhead is just spilling to the sides instead of flowing smoothly overhead. Thats why you'll see some manufacters come out with their own hatchback wings, like J's Racing. Looks ricey, but more functional.

Bling... What the **** could you need downforce on the rear tires in a HONDA for? If you're looking for this effect, put the spare tire back in.

Now one of the cool spoilers on the hood... That's fully functional.

I often do top speed runs for upwards of two hours, I notice differences.

94 DB7 daily driver, stock w/17" Rims (20lbs), full leather interior, auto trans, top speed 127mph, I can feel a little bit of lift when there's slight gusts of wind, and the rear end feels a bit loose. Same car two weeks later in same weather conditions, this time with touring spoiler mounted on trunk, top speed 111mph, although top speed has gone down 16mph, car is incredibly stable. Don't believe me, try it yourself, make sure you're at stock ride height, otherwise the effect is less dramatic. Someone else stated that the spoon is functional and the knock-offs are bling, well, I have the real deal spoon duckbill, aside from the carbon weaves, I can't see a difference from the knock-offs.

That's what I was thinking.
It's mostly just for show, but nonetheless it looks nice.

It depends, I have a JDM spoiler, it doesn't really give me "down force" but it's a larger light in the back to tell truckers that I'm there
