See if either you can get a battery from another honda from a friend, or see if jump starting it will work.

Also clean and tighten the battery ground wire attached to the chassis.

What is the voltage reading across the 2 battery posts?

Still haven't got home yet. I did buy a test light.

Let's see what it wants to do when I get there. This is kind of mystifying.

You seem intent on doing your own car work, so return the test light and buy a digital multimeter.

The video gives you good info for things to check but if I was you, I would start by getting a DVOM and getting a proper voltage reading on the current battery.

You want to solve your car problems but you lack the proper tools to do so. Either buy, rent, or borrow the proper tools or bring your car to a mechanic.

Ahh. If you have made up your mind to do so, then the battle is already won.

I also have a digital voltmeter.

ok. So far.. same thing. Battery full charged, car doing notihing. No lights, of any kind.. not even spark from battery.

my next step is to try a "known good battery" (I have one) but it is too big......

Post the battery voltage reading or I lock this thread. I plan to limit your desire to waste member's time in this forum from here on out.
