Fully Built CTR In Toronto, Canada... Check it out...
I was looking at the Auto Trader Online, and found this. If I had the money now, I'd buy it. Since I just paid $10,000 for tuition, I don't think it's possible to buy this...
I've seen this car on the highway and on the streets. It's a B16A though, but I think he has some Arrrrrrr motor work done to it, because it didn't sound like your normal first or second generation B16A.
Year: 2000
Make: HONDA
Model: CIVIC
Model Detail: TYPE R
Price: $20,000 (CAD)
Mileage: 25,000 km
Date: 9/10/03
Ad Type: Private
Comment: Championship white, w/black suede int., red carpet, 3 spoke Civic Type R wheel, 5 bolt suspension conversion, B16A, no expense spared to build! Pw, pl, pm, A/C, CD, amazing car. 25,000 km. $20,000 (CAD). Call for more details, (416)***-****.

way too much, money for it. for a 20k I can be driving a real ITR, regardless how much was spent.
Also to note, this car looks identical to theft recovery I have seen few months ago, it sold for $12000, without the motor and seats.

werd. just because you put hype ARRR badges on a USDM car, doesnt make it a type R.
slightly OT:
the JDM DC2 chassis was reinforced in certain areas, did they do the same with the EK9. opposed to the EJ6 chassis?

I'd still drive it over my Si.
And don't be hating upon Canada. We've heard enough of that **** in these forums.

I've seen it couple time in my old highschool's parking lot and my brother's summer school this summer.
Legardless it's a real R or not, no doudt it's a clean ride.

Okay can you guys leave the patriotism out of this ******* thread.
That said.......
The reason this post is catching flack is because the advertisement stated it was a CTR. Its not a CTR. You already knwo how we deal with people who claim their **** is real and its not.
A few badges adn interior pieces don't make your car a CTR. That's pricey even by cdn standards. Clean car but just call it a ctr lookalike. You won't get flamed as much.

I'm sure you can write that in a more polite manner. Nobody offended any Americans in this thread, therefore there is no need to type insults out to Canadians.
to ignorant people.

Re: (lowandslow)
Oh yeah. The picture doesn't work because they are uploading this week's Auto Trader listing onto their homepage. Once it's done, it should work again.
