Supertech http://www.supertechperformance.com/

Ferrea http://www.ferrea.com

Crower http://www.crower.com

In my opinion, those companies are better choices than Skunk2. They've all been in the business longer and build for domestics, too.

any of thoses campanies is good. but so is skunk 2.
if your going boost pick up a greddy turbo kit low boost it will work great for you.
port n polish the head. head studs, and gasket.

Hey man check this out! This should at least get you started as far as research goes for Skunk2. Excellent Company! Skunk2 calls it "The Cookbook". I'm sure you'll enjoy the link.

i wouldn't really spend the money on a itr motor if you are planning to change everything about it you would be better off going with a gsr with 5k you can do alot. the only thing you missing from the type r is the slightly ported head and slightly higher compression. you could cheaply add itr pistons to a gsr and spend less than an itr swap. but if you are dead set on the itr or already have one than skunk2 parts are good, not the best but good.

I have used supertech valvetrain in a few motors now with great results. They should work with Sk2 cams if you went that route also.

There are alot of companies out there. But def. figure what you want and go from there.

11:1 CR I would Supercharge it at about 4-5 lbs.
Instant power and fun.

a stock b18b5 will take 8-10psi of boost and gain anywhere from 80-120whp, 120 if your lucky

a fully buil b18c5 the right way can take 17-18psi

think
your b18c5 is 210, 220hp stock
stock internals on 8psi you get about 315-325whp on boost
built, on 15-18psi would go from 210hp stock to around 360-370whp
WHEEL HP

if your building it up, dont go for "low boost"
its a waste of time
if your gonna build it on low boost, might as well build it for all motor and try to get 250-260whp out of it after you, tune tune tune!

^^^ to above statement^^^ 210hp is CRANK hp for the stock C5 motor

Ok here is my setup and dyno hp

B18c5 block and head
Skunk2 intake mani with stock throttle body
Skunk2 pro 1 cams
Skunk2 pro series cam gears
12 to 1 compression pistons
High compression valves
titaniam valve springs and retainers
Toda oil pump gear
210cc injectors
walboro fuel pump
aem fpr
stock ignition(even stock wires)
stock si headers also.

00 EM1
GSR trans
Stock intake air box
Stock exhaust
6puck clutch with high pressure plate
8lb flywheel
Tuned on Crome

With all of that I got 210 to the wheels.

Im sure I forgot to mention some stuff

There is also a pretty big difference between a c5 swap and a GSR swap.

For starters the ITR has an oil cooler built onto the block.
More than higher compression the crank is balanced more for higher revs the valve springs are dual valve springs and the cams are larger and the head has better flow.

building a motor for allmotor and building a motor for boost is different....skunk2 valve train sucks... the cams are good for high rpm. Supertech valve train FTW! Ferrea was good but now they are out sourced and are make very cheap and have cheap quality.

they will suprise you by how quick they are.
and you prolly wont spend as much as the damn itr lol

nah doggy use all that sk2 stuff u want put in those pro 1 cams, and when you boost you will be good to go, go with a greddy kit 18g on a stock block semi built head you can see over 300whp with ~10lbs of boost give or take a few lbs and tune the blah blah blah but definatly a nice setup
