Re: fully built b16a?
Your not giving us anything to work with. You havnt listed anything that has any helpful information whatsoever. You have listed manufactures, not parts. What we need to know is what specific parts are you looking at for your build. Not just a example of manufactures. What are your power goals? n/a or turbo? How much are you willing to spend? Are you building the motor yourself? Is this going to be daily driven? These are all very important questions for us so that way we can give you the best possible answer. We're not going to build your motor for you. Im not going to give you a complete 'check list' of parts you should go out and buy. And if you have to ask the question on what a 'fully built b16a' means, then you obviously do not have the know-how to take on a build by yourself without any outside assistance, such as a shop or a paid mechanic. A built b16 isnt just cams and exhaust and what-have-you. A b16 with cams is not a "built" motor, its a b16 with cams lol

Re: fully built b16a?
well im new to this i didnt know what else to put i have dc sports headers, catback exhaust and cold air intake thats about it i want just built motor not turbo or anything like that i been asking some friends who read alot here on honda tech and they were suggesting cams, cam gears, dual valve springs for high rev rpm, valves, and as far for the block some piston piston rings, crank pully, crankshaft, i dont know what brand to get and what else i should get as far as little things like these i was woundering around how much hp am i looking at? and yeah im looking to do this i did the swap with help from my friends. same friends are going to help me fully built my b16a so any information is helpful i hope this information is more helpfull than the one before sorry

Re: fully built b16a?
I agree with maybol1j. A bigger block is the way to go. Get a b20 with some high compression pistons, rods, rod bolts, arp head bolts and what not. Use your b16 head, port n polish, bigger valves, titanium springs and retainers, stainless steel valves, stage 2 cams, blox intake manifold n throttle body, hondata s300, 440cc injectors, 255 walb ro fuel pump. And merry christmas, a fast *** N/A engine. Use whatever brands you want, dont just use skunk2 cuz thats what everyone uses. But do whatever you want, these are just some suggestions.
