full swap Q's
I've got a great deal on a 01 B18c1 longblock. I drive a 00 civic Si. Am I looking at a fairly easy swap here? Any recommendations from you guys, as far as mechanical issues and/or electrical? I'm getting everything, including the wiring harness and ECU.

Should be fairy simple. Mostly bolt-on ordeal. Go to http://www.hondaswap.com. It's chock full of info.

the only thing you'll need to re-use are your shift links and motor mounts.. the axles are interchangeable. Both motors are OBD2b.

you'll need to add the IAB wiring, and use the P72 ECU.

While you're at it, I would suggest for you to get a Skunk2 intake manifold so there would be no need for IAB wiring, and also a OBD-2 to OBD-1 conversion harness with a chipped P28 ECU. Everything else should be plug and play.

Re: full swap Q's (4-banging)
I believe the IAB is for the Secondary butterflies that are on the stock GSR intake manifold. The IAB solenoid opens and closes them at certain RPM's. I think to get rid of this you could also just not wire it and unplug the vaccum line to the secondaries. That way they will always stay open so there is no need for a switch to turn them on.

Will the Victor X GSR style mani take care of this....as does the Skunk2?
