FULL STAINLESS BRAIDED SETUP <CAN IT BE DONE>
Im trying to remove all useless and annoying things from the engine bay , I have a gsr swap into my 95 hatch and also turboing it , so i wanna shave anything that can go , but back to the point , im going to run a full braided line from the clutch to the tranny and also all braided fuel lines , my question , can full braided lines be ran from the proportioning valve to the front brakes and still be safe and not cause a mushy pedal? I do want a better pedal feal and also for the bling factor and the ability to run them low and outta site after the valve.. Thanks guys

Re: (Relic1)
i think u are wasting your time if u switch all the hard brake lines out to save weight plus i thing the braidedlines would weigh more

Re: (street dreams)
Well im not really that concerned with the weight , more of just getting everything off the firewall , i have a vacuum manifold and aeromotive fuel filter and i i would just like to have a nice system of braided lines running through there .

Neither do I.
You should really stick with the hardline and go with stainless braided line to replace the non-hardline hoses.

To answer your question:
Can it be done, Yes.
Should it be done, No.
The reason you shouldn't do it is because hard lines are put there for a reason, They don't flex like rubber ones do, yes the braided still flex but not as much as regular rubber they simply have some support on the outside of the tubing.
By using all braided lines you run the risk of a softer pedal, all that force will push out on the walls of the tube in effect lowering the effective pressure at the slave cylinder.
Not to mention the hard lines hold up better then soft. The soft ones flex which is why they normally go first before your hard line ever will. The biggest killer of hard lines is rust, not the pressure.
Hope that helped you, If you want to go for that "look" Id recommend covering the hard lines with the braided material and or tubing that would protect it from the elements and give you the look your going after.
Feel free to Im me if that didn't make the most sense in the world.

Re: FULL STAINLESS BRAIDED SETUP <CAN IT BE DONE> (nocturnaldragon)
But seriously, it CAN be done. Search around, there was a guy who even relocated his prop. valve onto the inside of the firewall. THere are some totally shaved bays, like putting the ABS unit inside the car (yeah, someone did that) and putting the coolant resovoir where you can't see it.
Now my opinion: Don't do it, stock system is gonna be better than any hardline replacement.

No it shouldnt be done ! The rubber hose in most braided lines cant handle the toxins in the brake fluid, it will break down the rubber and you will crash. I would recomend getting a big roll of Russle anodized hard line and a tube bender and flaring tool and fab up your own line route. this line uses AN fittings too. Im sure you will like it, cuz its the only option you got besides OEM.......
