Re: full coilover opinion (dcdude)
My friend has a 92 eg Hatch with Matrix type x coilover kit he hugs corners over 80 mph.
He payed under $800.00 for the whole kit but he installed it himself idk where he bought them though http://is.rely.net/1-92-29998-l-1gbM...AmVuBW3hGg.gif |
Tein basics?

I'm rockin' the Tanabe Sustec Pro's on my '92 Si Hatch, and I love 'em. They never squeak, and they can forsure hold their own. Fun for booting around the city with them. If you want a rediculously hard cornering car, pick up the ASR subframe brace with the Type R rear sway bar (you can get the whole kit for like 350 on ebay)... with that kit and the Tanabe coilovers, the car will stick to the road like crazy. Comfy ride too. I think I paid like $800 for the Tanabe's on ebay.
It seems everyone these days has the Tein's or Tokico's... try somethin' else... chances are that it'll be a good choice either way. If you're gonna spend around 800 bucks, Im pretty sure anything you get will be good. |
