Default Fuel Rail B16 to B18?

Hi everyone, I just bought a parts car with a b16lsvtec in it and it has a massive aem fuel rail on it.
What I was wondering is if i could just throw that and the injectors on my b18 and have no problems? or should i keep my b18 injectors on the car and just swap the fuel rail? or should i do neither? I just cant afford a tune or hondata at the moment so I am stuck. my b18 has a b16 tranny, not that that matters.
I am also not sure if i should be posting this in integra or civic but it is all in a 97 civic si.

Thanks for the help!

B series fuel rails are all the same. Unless you know what size the injectors are (and know that they're the same size as what's on your car), you shouldn't swap those. Realistically, though, there's no logical reason for you to futz with it, from what you've told us.

yea i just thought the aem one would give me some more power but, since theres no real reason for me to put it on i guess ill leave it off until i rebuild. Thanks for the insight though.
should i find out what injectors are on it and see if they are the same ones as in my car? if so, then replace the rail?

look bud ive owned a car for 2 months so the fact i know what a fuel rail is should be enough. Im learning everything now as i go. I changed brakes for the first time the other day so leave me alone. first thing i did was swap a tranny so i think im doing alright. I just want a fast b18, even though it can take stock b18s no prob. .. wait till i vtec this bitch!

You're expecting to replace a fuel rail for a name brand would yield more power, that is what I'm laughing at. I never cared for vtec, torque is more fun.

oh, well alrighty then.
so i know this is off that topic but i am replacing the seals in the head of my b18. what i was wondering, because i am taking the valve cover off anyway i am going to paint it. but will the b16dohc vtec cover fit on it? Im just wondering because if so, ill paint that one. take the stock cover off, change the seals, and put the b16 one on right away. Instead of the alternative, take it off and paint it and just let gunk get into my head while i do. which i dont want to do.

You haven't told us what B18 you have, so the answer is "maybe".

The answer for extremely basic questions is also "Read the FAQ sticky, and Google". It's expected that you do a modicum of research before posting random thoughts. Given that you think a fuel rail has anything to do with power production makes it clear that you haven't even tried yet.
