Default fuel rail

ive got this fuel pressure regulator my friend gave to me he thinks it came off a b16a. ive got a d16y7 and the place where the fuel comes out of the regulator is offset from the holes where it mounts to the fuel rail. the regulator for the b16 lines up differently and doesn't fit on my fuel rail. im guessing b-series and d-series fuel rails/fuel pressure regs aren't interchangeable? or can i just order a fuel rail for a b-series and put it on my d-series? thanks.

Why do that when you can pick up a nice adjustable FPR for the price of a new non adjustable one.
