Fuel pump wont engage
Bought a 2000 civic ex, took out the b18b1 and put in a b20, now the car wont start, the climate control lights no longer turn on, the gauge cluster has no power and the fuel pump stopped priming
i checked all the fuses, and the main relay, the pump itself is also good, im stumped
Will running a 12v line from the battery to the FP be any good or could something else be done, the car cranks over and has spark

Replace the fuses anyways sometimes you can't even see a blown/shorted fuse. Really sounds like it's an electrical issue with the other issues happening as well. Is it the same fuel pump that was running with the B18?

Double check all wiring,
overlook everything that was changed/reworked to accomodate your new engine swap.
If no go, troubleshoot ignition switch.

Does your check engine light stay on solid?
Solid light that doesn't turn off after 3-4 seconds = ECU problem.
If the light turns off after a few seconds of key being on...at least you know that it's not
the ECU.
Hope this helps a little.

light used to just stay solid, now it blinks 8 times then stays solid but the 8 is because my tdc wire is disconnected on the stepdown harness

Re: Fuel pump wont engage
not a clue, i drove it had my brakes bled then drove it home, i turned it on again to drive back to the brake place and my engine wouldnt pass 2k, it would chug and die, i ran codes found tdc was undone, reconnected it now it no longer primes, so i jumped 5&7 on the relay and i dont think i have spark anymore, it wont turn on and im goin crazy, the fuel pump doesnt work without the jumper wire

Re: Fuel pump wont engage
*ANSWER* there are three wires that are grounded on the thermostat housing, one black and 2 brown/blk wires, in my case the two brown wires were not connected causing the fuel pump to not prime and my engine to not spark
