Default fuel pump question

i recently changed my holley walbro (forced induction) 12-916 fuel pump to a new stock one from autozone. are holley fuel pumps known to go bad? have been using it for about 3 years, until i think it went bad. becuz my car wouldnt start. will having a stock fuel pump mean better fuel economy? i didnt notice a change in performance becuz my motor is basically stock with header/catback exhuast. How much flow is a stock fuel pump? compare to the holley. thanks

well given your fuel pressure regulator kind of does the job of flow control, given you have a stock set up it not going to do crap.
