Make sure that the appropriate fuses (fuel pump, main relay, etc.) are in good condition. Also, check if the wire is messed up. Could be a bad ECU as well.
Btw, they should really split up the 92-00 forum into two forums, 92-95 and 96-00

5th generation Civic -- check fuses 31, 24, and 18
6th generation Civic -- check fuses 44, 31, and 13

I've seen enough differences to make me want separate forums. Also, if there were separate forums, you wouldn't have to ask everyone what year civic they had to answer their questions.

There was a recent poll on this same topic, and it seems that the majority of members share your opinion. I am clearly in the minority. I don't mind asking questions, though it would be nice if people would just remember to add this key bit of information to their posts. I think it would be a shame to separate 5th and 6th gen into different forums because there is so much to learn from these very similar cars. It also makes the forum more interesting having them together, in my opinion.
