Default fuel pump fuse keeps blowing (ek hatch)

Hi everyone, my 15 fuse under the hood keeps blowing as soon as I turn the key to on and the fuel pump doesn't prime. I don't know how to find the shortage so if you can help me, I might need a lot of detail. Thanks in advance. 96 ek hatch.

Try putting a higher amp fuse and see if it blows.

When you turn the key to ON position do you hear the main relay click?

Maybe your pump it's seized causing the fuse to blown!

Do not put any higher fuse before check your problem if something is wrong you can damage something else. i.e. toast the wires

Put another fuse, lift the pump lid under the rear seat disconnect the plug for the pump and turn the switch to On. If the fuse don't blow check what voltage you get, if you get the correct voltage then your pump is damaged.

The hood 15A ECU fuse does not supply voltage to the fuel pump.

Try unplugging the IACV, fuel injectors, and ECU connector A to see if this prevents the fuse from blowing.

Sorry I got back to you kinda late, but here's what happened. I went and unplugged my injectors and moved around some wires behind the intake manifold And when I turned the key my fuse didn't blow. I plugged the injectors in expecting the fuse to blow but it didn't. I even turned on my car and starts like normal. Does this mean the short could be behind the intake manifold?

could get in there and look where the wires when into the injector clips is also a place to look. You'll need to slice the loom open.
