fuel problem no noise of fuel pmp turning on?
im having a fuel problem at start up i turn the key and the car has spark but no fuel is going through. could it be a main relay or fuse problem i tested the pump from the battery and it works but when i place it back in and connect it i cant hear any noise of the fuel pump turning on.

Not sure what kind of Civic you have, but test the main relay, test voltage to fuel pump and if both check out, it might be time to drop the tank and replace the fuel pump.

Also, if you happen to have a soldering iron you can take out the main relay and touch the tip of it to each solder joint on the back (long enough to melt and then resolidify the solder). The solder joints on Honda main relays are known to crack over time, but there's really no reason to run out and buy a new one... you can simply do this little trick and it more or less refubishes it. If you *really* want to do it up, you can go get yourself a desoldering tool from Radio Shack and some fine gauge rosin core solder and resolder each joint from scratch. They tend to last longer that way.
Even if the main relay is not your problem, it's just good preventative maintenance to perform if you happen to have the main relay taken out of the car.

Go out and get yourself a Chiltons or Helms manual or something. Either would probably have diagrams.

i at one point was getting spark and no fuel, turned out to be a fuse. check the fuse in the top left corner of your fuse box (at least, thats where it is on my EK) sorry, i don't remember the exact name of it, and don't really want to run to the garage right now
