fuel problem
i have a 96 hatchback with a b18b swap,i changed the engine harness to an automatic 97 civic coupe harness because i had to many cut wires from the ecu plug on my old harness . the car cranks and everything but the motor is not receiving fuel. the fuel gauge does not go up it stays at 0 psi.its making a ticking noise from the main relay the one that is inside the glove compartment and the speedometer needle goes up and down by itself . i changed the fuel pump and the relay ,and it still didnt work. i tried my ecu on my friends car and it works fine. i need to know if i can actually use the automatic harness . i really need help i lost my job over it!!!!!!!
i'm using a chipped p75

Re: fuel problem (Lamafia ck)
im using a automatic harness on my b16 no problems with the speedometer, as long as you have a manual ecu, because it's not looking for the automatic sensors. it sounds like your speed sensor is making your needle freak out. check the connection and make sure it's not corroded or shorted. as far as the fuel problem i would've went with a new fuel pump also. good luck.
