93 Dx 5speed.

For about a month now I have been riding around and randomly my car throws a CEL (which I found out to be 43) and it starts sputtering. I can shut the car off and turn it back on, and the CEL disappears and allows me to ride normally.

This is completely random. Some days it happens, some days it does not.

How can you tell if it is the FPR, and if the FPR is going bad.

Mind you since this has been happening I have changed the Fuel Filter, Oil, O2, Dizzy. Plugs have been changed, NGK and I drove 200 miles to STL with no problem) as well but that happened prior to this stuttering.

what kind of o2? oe? aftmkt?
where is base timing?

put a fp gauge on it and see where it is.

the first one was Oem. Replaced it cause the CEL #1 was showing. Put a Bosch in and the CEL is not coding any more.

Where can I get a fuel pressure, or rent one. Autozone not trying to rent those out only sell them.

How do i find out the base timing?
