Default fuel pressure regulator

i just got a fpr for my ls swapped eg turbo'd and its on a vafc tune. its running pretty rich and i get pretty horrible milage on gas. it smokes but just cause of fuel. i am planning on getting hondata s100 w/ boost and tunning it. do i still need the fpr (might be a dumb ?) or will hondata fix the richness problem.

Also if i installed the fpr with out hondata say... is it smart to adjust it your self or take it somewhere not really familiar with fpr so i just dont want to make a stupid mistake

Well find out why you're running rich, if it's because of the FPR I'd just get a gage (they're like 30 bucks) and adjust it. On a B16a I think they're supposed to be around ~45 (static, which is with the vacuum line disconnected) - that's a guestimate, don't feel like loading the helms right now b/c I have no time, sorry, good luck.
