Default Fuel Pressure

ok so i got my base map tune on my car and i was wondering how many LBS of fuel should i be running at my fuel rail, i was running around 30-35lbs and now im running around 18-20lbs, seems to clear up alittle when i took the pressure down, i was just wondering what everyone else is setting theres on. I have a LS turbo with aem fuel rail and 450 injectors.

but when i was at 35lbs it smelled like straight gas almost and it felt like it might of been flooding it out cause when i turned it down the throttle response sounded better

thats interesting... you have really big injectors.. 450cc??? you need more fuel man.. what kind of fuel pump are you using? what kind of fuel pressure regulator? check your spark plugs.. what color is it? white indicates lean and black indicates too rich.. and if you have oil on the spark plugs then its a big issue..I believe more people run rich with turbo motors.. I dont know much about turbo so someone can correct me on this.

Or it could just be the base map ecu.. are you sure its the correct idea setup for you car? just get it tuned and they will fix it.

450cc yep i no u need more fuel with boost thats why i went up from 240cc to 450cc injectors im just running a gsr fuel pump with a b&m FPR alot of people do run more rich with turbos to be safe but more lean to gain power but i guess it could be the ecu tune but he tuned it for injectors and everyting thats what im not understanding right now if it tuned for the injectors for the base map why does it seem to be flooding it out when at 35lbs i dont no i was just online tring to find out what everyone else runs on there setup maybe i am to lean i feel like 18-19lbs is really to lean im affraid i might blow it just driven around

yes its pretty dangerous running lean.. check your spark plugs tomorrow and see what the condition is. Also it may be best to change your fuel pump.. Get a walbro 255. also you can get the car tuned asap!
