Fuel Line Issue (Pics)
The search is down that is the reason I am posting this,
So I had my car on the hoist at Honda today and we found that the high pressure fuel line had a leak near the gas tank.
The tech basically told me that to replace the fuel line on an EG you have to drop the front cross member, which I believe after looking at it, but it seems just silly that Honda designed it like that.
Any tips on making this a little easier?
Heres a cell phone pic,

That looks pretty corroded. Yea to pull the fuel lines, and back brake lines without breaking them is by dropping the cross member. Not fun.

Re: Fuel Line Issue (Luserkid)
Is there any way I can flair on a new fitting, or anything that will not fail, other than dropping the cross member to install a new fuel line?

Re: Fuel Line Issue (goldegg)
Well that isn't any good. The only other thing you could try is to cut a line off a doner car a few feet down the body. then use it and use a coupler to splice the 2 pieces together but I don't think that I would try that on a fuel line

you would only need a foot of stainless braided, plus the AN fittings. You're looking at maybe $30 at the most. Plus you'll need a flaring tool kit, another $20-30 if you don't know anyone who has one.
