Fuel issue/running rich
Hello Honda-tech:
Here's the problem. My 97 hx(stock) has been running pretty rich and, when my car is low on fuel, I have a harder time starting it up. When I am parked facing uphill it is slower to start up and it seems to idle lower. Also, sometimes the car is a little jerky when it has just been started. Please tell me why my car sucks. Fuel pump?

I couldn't find code P0136 for your Civic. Use the jumper wire method to pull the code. A bad primary O2 sensor would likely explain why your engine is running rich, which might also foul your plugs.

There is no honda listing for p0136. But as a generic code it comes up as O2 sensor, low voltage bank 1. In any case the p013X's are all o2 sensor codes.
