Fuel guage after instrument cluster swap?
I just put a 5gen Si cluster into my dx and everything works perfectly except for the fuel guage. It just stays on 'full' all the time. Does anybody have a remedy for this or know how to re-calibrate it? The sensor is fine, but i'm not sure what else to do. TIA

it sounds like you have the wrong wire going into the fuel guage input, your best bet is probably to get your hands on both manuals and see what goes where

Sounds like the wrong wire, I would assume that the wiring would be the same. If you have both insturment clusters you can just follow the leads from the wire to the screw or bulb that it "controls" if you don't have a manual, or have a cheesy manual that doesn't cover it. I wired up a 6gen Si cluster into my 5th gen DX. I had the same prob you desribed then I realized a switched the engine temp and fuel wires. The fuel gauge stayed all the way up and kind of bounced a bit, the engine temp gauge didn't move.

some fuel gauges use a small post to prevent the guage needle to go to one extreme or the other.. if your guage has these, make sure it is not interferring with the needle..
