Default Fuel cut off is 74))ish on p28

Ok gsr in Vtec sol and cuts off around 7400ish. Its a 95 factory Del Sol Vtec, so I assume p28 came stock with my car??? Now its got a skunk2 IM and I read somewhere you need a reflash on the ecu to work the single butterflies. I have a feeling the ecu has a reflash b/c my secondaries come on at 4700. I want to know whats going on here b/c I got a motor that can swing past 8grand and can only take up to 7400. Stock b18c1 doesnt even make power until 7800. Help me please.........

What you need is to get your ecu chip, then its all good

I do know what Im talking about. I have a factory Del Sol Vtec with a B18c1 swap. But do you need to do anything to the ecu with a skunk2 im?
So p28 is for single cams? What ecu should I run, gsr?

P72. Yes you will need to run a different ecu and no having a skunk2 intake manifold will not make you need to change ecu's or do anything to it unless you want to tune but then you need to chip the ecu and all that. and if you do that then data log your car on a laptop and fine tune it more...atleast thats the way we do it here in canada...

Psh, horseshit. Everyone in Canada still uses the AFC hack.

Does the Skunk2 IM have the secondaries? Will not having secondaries screw up the P72 at all?

Nope it shouldn't. a friend at our local drag strip has the same setup as the op so maybe i can do some research for him come this friday at the strip. haha AFC hack.... yeah man that's ground breaking technology here in canada...lol
