**** modacar...
ought a act clutch kit from them the spring busted only after a week and the ******* want me to buy a new clutch and wait to see if the other clutch is defective.even though the clutch still falls under the 90 day warranty period....wut the **** do they think im stupid ...anyways nothing pisses me off more then shops that don't stand behind usually quality products..last time i ever buy **** from them

I paid $120 for REAL Vision corners, I even called them to confirm that they were going to be the real deal.
They send me carbon fiber Integra altezza tails. I call, they say sorry and I return them.
2 weeks later the "REAL" Vision corners come, not in their origonal box, and with scratched faces because they weren't packed properly. They also weren't smoked (which I had requested), they had chrome housing (which I asked them to verify was grey), and they featured "made in Taiwan" stickers on them.
Took them 3 tries to send me the RMA number so I could return them.
Not only did they f*ck up a lot, they also lied to me.
I am never doing business with them again.

well thats not modacars fault thats act's fault..... modacar didnt make the clutch. the problem with the spring sounds abuse related to me

I of all people hate modacar, but it is not really there responsibility, it would be ACT's. Did modacrap install it for you too?

i'm sorry about your incident, but that's how warranty's work. they have to send in the defective part for inspection to determine whether or not it's defective. so you'll have to buy a new one, and if the broken one passes inspection, they will refund your money back for the defective one. unless, they have a different procedure/store policy.
you can still hate modacar, but this isn't their fault.

i just recently bought a carsound cat from motorsports...and a week later it sounds like a i got rocks jumpin around in there...but i cant blame them for it.because they didnt make the damn thing..all i can do is be mad...by the way eujay..i just purchased one from you guys and that did happen..im not too happy with carsound..i think its a POS if u ask me..what can i do? can i get my money back or something? come on now..a weekk...a cats suppose to last longer then that..

could just be a defective clutch.. who installed it? if they installed it, then they gotta send the clutch back to the manufacture to see what happened to it, standard policy for all shops. ive only ever heard good things about modacar.

sucks to hear your ACT broke on you. Modacar isn't trying to screw you over. Warrenties would be cover directly through the ACT, not modacar. They probably could do the warrenty for you, but why should then screw themselves out of a clutch cause yours broke. Its a business, they have to take it back first to determine if it is covered..don't rag on modacar cause of a faulty ACT clutch

usually some clutches have a break in period from what i hear,
and sprung clutches sucks anyways...
ill be sure to wary of modacar since they dont warrant their products and theyre not much help

I bought my Greddy EVO and DC Sports SS from Modacar and everything was great. Seemed like it took a while to get here but maybe that was only cause I wanted it to get here so bad

I ordered a 5 lug ctr conversion w/ wheels took 4 weeks called modacar and talked to John said they tryed shipping it to me (said it takes 7-10 days) saying he called and left a message, which never happened, then he tells me when i called him 2 12 03 that they tried shipping it 2 1/2 weeks when he shipped it out on 1 28 03 how in the hell did they do that. Then i called modacar back tried speaking to JOhn but john passes over this order to one of his employees to take care of his problem. WHat kind of Customer Service is that!!! ANd still i havent recieved the shipment called back to get a refund and finally spoke to John tells me now i have to pay a restocking fee and i told him i call my credit card company for fraud. John needs to be checked out by the BBB because thats who im gonna call to make sure he knows how to run a business.

ive bought alot of **** from modacar , love modacar. i guess its better if your local . bought my apexi n1 , gabs , sw388s , spoon front upper strut bar as well as other things from there , didnt find there prices to be bad at all and i love their service. what do you want modacar about the act clutch , they cant just put another one in if they dont know if it was defective . casey is a good mech if he installed it , you prolly broke it , its hard to break an act clutch.
