Front Sway Bar Install Help
ok i got everything off a DC2.
-22mm Front Sway Bar of a 95 Teg
-Front LCA's off of a 98 DC2
-Polyurethane Endlinks
-D brackets
-Bushings
-Misc Bolts
Ok i get the LCA's mounted, sway bar into position, and holy got this thing doesnt seem like it wants to match up to the holes in the LCA. Is there any special step i need to know about? It seems when i get one side all bolted up the other side seems too short or something. I dont know i scratched my head for about an hour thinking i might have put something on backwards or something but im stumped. Anyone have a DIY on putting a front sway bar on a EG or has done this before? Please help

is teh car in the air or sitting on the ground?
you may have to put it on the ground or some ramps to put some weight over those wheels and compress the suspension...
or jack it up and take the weight off the wheels.

Also, the sway bar endlinks attach the the arm that attaches to the lca. Not the actual lca. Did you get that arm too? The one I'm talking about has two bolts that attach to the lca, and one big bushing that it's attached to on the other side of it. The bushing's bracket bolts to the frame.

Yes, you'll have to jack it up and then you'll have to jack up the tire one at a time to raise the lca's and compress the springs. That's my guess.
