Front Sway Bar help needed!!!
Okay I am having extreme difficulty dropping my sway bar in the front. I disconnected the 5 bolts on the sway bar, 3 large ones and two small ones. But I cannot seem to disconnect the sway bar from the bar its connected to at the very end of the sway bar by the whole suspension in the front. How do you get that sway bar off?? I am able to get a socket wrench on it and counter turn to loosen it but it doesn't come loose, it just turns. I had thought that if I put another socket wrench on the other end and hold it to where it doesn't turn and turn the other end loose it would come off but it didn't. I really need to get the sway bar dropped so if anybody can offer some insight it would be greatly appreciated.

what other sway bar are you talkin about that the sway bar is attached to? are you talking about the subframe that the d brackets are attached to ,or the endlinks attached to the lca's?

its a 93 civic chassis, I believe the sway bar is OEM stock. I think what i need to get undone is the endlinks attached to the LCA's. It's connected by a 14mm bolt and nut and I cannot get it to come out. It just turns and turns. Like I said I've tried to hold it steady from the other side but it still turns.

you see thats what I thought too dude but there is such a small gap that I cannot get a wrench in there. Would you happen to know around what size wrench I should use???

Dude I tried this and I was successful at getting a vise grip around it to keep it from turning and yet the bolt still wouldn't come off. Do you have to use an impact wrench or something??? I was told I could possibly get it off by dropping the lower control arm, anybody know if this is true?? all I need to do is just lower the sway bar for a minute and then rehook it up.

Re: (VALET dude)
Okay I now have pics of the sway bar and the LCA. Can somebody please point out what bolts to take off and also I think I damaged the end nut on the sway bar in the pic where its sort of turning sideways, is that just simply replaceable??
The end of the sway bar where it connects to the LCA. On the end there is like a rubber cap that I think I damaged as you can see, should it be replaced with another one??
A pic of the front of the LCA, which bolt will drop the sway bar???
This is the underside of where the sway bar connects to the LCA. The nut pictured is the one I have problems with, it just turns and turns. The other bolt is the underside of the sway bar.
