Default front sway bar on a 99 civic ex

if the endlinks are somewhat loose due to the rubber things getting old etc... what kinda noise do you think they'll make when cornering and going straight out of cornering?

You sound unsure, do you have a rattling coming from underneath the car, or from when you turn the wheel?

well yeah im unsure lol.

Here's the deal. I got built a b18b and put it into a civic dx. at the same time, i added power steering, front swaybar setup consisting of the ex front arms and swaybar links. updraded to 11 inch rotors and itr calipers.

I am also using DA axles. They actually fit with a different driver side tranny seal. While putting the pasanger axles in i yanked on the knuckle while the axle was still in there and something came loose. I can hear liquid in the axle boot moving around so i managed to shove it back in. When I turn the knuckle by hand i can feel a little bit of binding.

So today i get under the car and notice my swaybar endlink busings are all loose.

The noise im hearing inside the cabin while driving sounds a little like rubbing/knocking and I can feel it in the steering wheel too. The tranny is a hydro gsr.

So i don't exactly know where to look. everything looks really tight except for those endlinks.

Sounds like maybe you should have it checked out, could possibly be something else loose, i dont beleive that a sway bar could cause that kind of vibration in the steering wheel unless it was incredibly loose. Maybe loose tie-rods or control arm bolts?

yeah i checked all of that and they seem to be ok. I checked all the baljoints too. none seem to be loose to the point where i can move it around.

One more thing i did notice was the steering endlinks where it attaches to the knuckle. it rocks and if i rock it enough i can hear "pinging." Is this normal?

And engine knock cant possibly be it right? I mean, if it were to knock that hard, the engine would be gone right?

well i drained the oil out of the car to see if any metal shavings were present and ran a magnetic drain plug through it and there was none. So I guess engine knock is out of the question right?

so it sounds like your axle is not set right it happened to my car to all i did is just change the axle where the vibration was coming from.
