Default Front strut tower bar question

Will any front tower bar fit on a stock civic's engine with the stock air box? For example, my engine is a 2000 d16y7 stock with the stock air box on top, and I was wondering if, say for example this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MU-GE...Q5fAccessories might fit my civic with the stock air box or would I have to get a cold air intake to replace the box with a tube? Thanks for the input guys and gals

EDIT: or maybe this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...Q5fAccessories for a "more complete" set up

They fit, I had them on my 96. However, until you go with a fixed, non-adjustable bar, you won't get all of the benefit of having them. These bars flex a lot. Remember, you get what you pay for.

both. not saying they will but at 36 dollars for 4 when you can't buy a real one for under 100 i would put no faith in them lasting long before snapping somewhere(it'll be where the adjustable bolts are.)

They'll fit but will be next to useless. More for looks than function.

Pick up the set of 4 and try them. I'm not sure how long they would last but I'm sure your going to see a difference. I threw a GSR strut bar on my car and I notice that its easier to corner.

a factory gsr strut bar is superior in receiving and transferring forces across the shock towers than anything found on ebay could ever be. solid aluminum, joints and adjustable points, all these things make them relatively useless.

So, will a PWJDM 3 point or Carbing 3 point fit? Has any one even tried these ones?

But regardless of which one I get, you guys sure it will fit? Cuz I'm kinda skeptical about spending money on something that may not fit my car because of the big stock air box

You could have Googled the answer by now. The Neuspeed bar fits.

BTW. They aren't cheap as your Ebay choices (even used) and they don't make them any more.
